About this Cat
About Tai: === Tai is a sweet and outgoing 5 year old black Manx cat. You can learn about Manx cats here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manx_cat), but essentially they are cats born without a tail. He is a big boy (15 lbs) !! As for his personality, he can best be described as the type of cat who loves to chillax in the same room as you. When I used to work from home, he would just sleep on my bed, under my chair, or in his cat tree while I worked. Whenever I have guests, Tai always greets them to demand some butt scratches, and then observes from just outside the room as we all hangout. He's typically pretty lazy, but on occasion likes to play with string and toy mice. At night, he likes to sleep on the end of the bed or in between my legs.
Ideal Home: === He is an indoor cat only, and would be great quiet company for a person who works from home, a family where someone works from home, or someone who needs a companion. He needs to be the only cat in a household--he was also extremely stressed when I tried to slowly introduce him to another cat so that he wouldn't be alone all the time, and I ended up having to return the other cat :(
Health & Details: === He is neutered, potty trained, and is up to date on immunizations. I can provide his vet records. As a Manx cat, He does require a tiny bit of extra care, as sometimes he will have a bit of poop stuck to his butt that needs wiping. He is very cooperative with this, and all handling in general.

How will tai receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the tai, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming tai's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and tai was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, tai’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the tai’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, tai’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
