Meet Sweetie! Sweetie is approx 4 years old, 24 lbs, and a Terrier mix. This sweet angel has clearly had a tough life prior to being rescued as she struggles being around dogs in public areas. At home, she is peaceful, loves to snuggle, rarely barks, and fully house trained. She enjoys her peace & solitude and appreciates lounging and long naps. Sweetie would be best served in a home with a strong alpha owner as she responds well to firm boundaries. As a Terrier mix, she has a strong prey instinct and can pull pretty hard when going on a walk. She loves spending time with her human(s) but also appreciates time alone lounging and napping. Her current foster dad works from home and describes her as the lowest maintenance dog he has ever had…except for her reaction to other dogs…which is a work in progress. Can you give Sweetie the life she deserves? She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sweetie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sweetie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sweetie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sweetie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
