About this Dog
Meet Dora! This beautiful tripawd was lovingly named by her rescuer and original foster parent as they encountered her while they where down in Baja Mexico. This sweetheart approached them seeking food and water which is exactly what they gave her and the opportunity at a new safe life. They noticed she was holding her front leg limping and named her "Dora the explorer". Once in San Diego and seen by our partner veterinarian X-rays showed an old fracture which wouldn't have a great pronostic for recovering and hence amputation was schedule the week before Thanksgiving holiday. Thankfully Dora did amazing post surgery and the next day she was moving around pain free without any difficulty. Dora has no mobility problems And can walk, run and go up and down stairs without problems. She may not be a great partner if you are looking for a running companion but she loves to go camping, RVing, running around at dog beach and the dessert (See videos) Dora is great with humans, especially children. Dora is dog friendly and lives with several dogs And children. She has also lived in a foster home with cats and although she is safe around them she would do best in a home with no cats as she tends to want tochase if they ran. If the home has very dog friendly cats who hold their ground and are not afraid or skitsh around dogs she may do well in that home, we recommend a foster to adopttrial for a week to make sure she and the kitties get along. Otherwise she would do best in a home with no cats. She would be happy in a home with other dogs or in a home as the only dog, as long as she continues to be exposed to dog friends frequently Because she enjoys dog friends. Dora the explorer is house trained and crate trained.she enjoys toys and benabones. she is a great copilot as she enjoys car rides.Dora being a tripawd doesn't stop her from walking on any type of surface flooring and is a complete package if you are looking for a great dog to adopt as a new family member. Won't you give this gorgeous girl a chance? she is an underdog as many would consider her a special needs dog but she is nothing but perfect! Adopt Dora and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Dora's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Dora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dora's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dora’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Dora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dora’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
