About this Dog
Looking for a 'minii" labrador? Perfect you've found her!Hope you have time to read about this cutie because we will tell you ALL about Lulu.As of 8/1/25 Lulu is full grown at 27 pounds. She was rescued from Ensenada, Baja as a young pup and has been in San Diego since February 2025 where she stayed at the vet boarding for medical until she was ready and has been fostered at casa de ARWOB since March 2025. She had an adorable brother names Lucas who was adopted back in March, he had many applications likely because he looked like a cow ei much cuter than a simple black dog and likely the reason Lulu is still with us because she has received ZERO applications and is such a great dog. Smart and aims to please her humans. We do not know her breed but being from Baja it automatically means she is a super mutt with likely large breed and small breed producing THE perfect medium breed at high 20 pounds. She does Looks like a labrador and certainly LOVES to fetch and has the energy of a labrador BUT her petite paws scream SMALL breed. If someone adopts her and performs a DNA test please let us know WHAT she is aside from a perfect Black beauty! Lulu is a strong healthy fully vetted and UTD on medical. I am her foster since March and the following is information about her personality and Behavior:She enjoys walks and has no leash reactivity. She is always ready for a car ride. Not a big barker at all, actually, you rarely hear her voice. She is just an 'innocent/funny/loving' personality kind of dog.Lulu is WONDERFUL with all humans men, woman, children. She always greets people coming into the house with kisses and runs to greet humans at dog parks. She can be timid at first when people try to pet her so you will see her approaching you first when your back is turn so she can sense you and once you pet her a couple of time she goes nuts on the kisses. She is fostered at casa de arwob which means she is surrounded by dogs and cats. She is GREAT with all dogs irrespective of age, size, sex, energy level, she can be gentle and crazy she will match the energy. She is good with cats/kittens she can get in playful mode so its cat personality dependent but she is safe around them. If you have or plan on adopting cats we are happy to chat but she will be just fine in a house with cats. She has always lived in a home with dogs, she likely will do just fine in a home as an only dog but we do request her adopter keeps socializing her around other dog friends as its important part of life for her to be happy.Lulu is perfect for dog beach, dog parks, doggy day care in case you do not have other dogs at home she will need to be around other dogs to be happy in life and not just a house dog without dog time. She has never lived with children but we believes she will adore them especially like their hands clean of whatever food they had and she is an excellent vacuum for any food in the floor, you will not need a rumba with Lulu around! Lulu is potty and crate trained. She is mostly house trained BUT she is still a 'pup" although as of next month August she will be a year old, she can get into things like all teenagers do.Lulu's bestie if Yuma and although they are twining hard they are NOT related, in case you are looking to adopt two friends or foster a friend Yuma would be an excellent choice. To foster or adopt this beautiful soul please submit applications online at arwob.org as of 8/1/25 this pup is still available and looking for her humans.

Adopt Lulu and Receive Lulu's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lulu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lulu's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lulu, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lulu's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lulu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lulu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lulu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lulu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
