About this Dog
Meet Zoey – A Tiny Fighter with a Huge HeartZoey is a 3-year-old, 7-pound toy poodle who has already lived a lifetime of hardship. Rescued from a homeless woman who could no longer care for her, Zoey came to us severely matted, frightened, and in desperate need of help.Despite everything, this tiny girl is incredibly sweet — she just needs time, patience, and love to fully decompress and trust again. The Good News: Zoey has been fully groomed and cleaned up — she's feeling so much better! She's now vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on all her shots She’s scheduled to be spayed this week Zoey has only one eye, but don’t worry — she gets around just fine! Zoey is very timid right now — the world is still a scary place after all she’s been through — but she’s never shown a bit of aggression. Just soft, gentle sweetness. With time and a calm, loving home, her true personality will blossom. She’ll do best in a quiet environment with patient adopters who can let her move at her own pace. Zoey’s journey is just beginning, and she’s looking for someone to walk beside her with love. Applications can be found at www.secondleashonlife.orgAdoption fee is $450

100% of Zoey's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Zoey.
Adopt Zoey and Receive Zoey's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zoey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Zoey's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Zoey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zoey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zoey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zoey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zoey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zoey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
