About this Dog
Howie is a handsome boy who knows how to get comfortable wherever he is. He is around 5 months old with short white fur, long thin legs and a long often wagging tail. We don't know who his mom or dad was but believe he is a Lab and Shepherd mix and he will be a big, tall dog when he is done growing. Howie is doing great with crate training and is housetrained in his current foster home. He is a sweet boy that makes friends with everyone, big and small alike. He loves to play with other dogs. As a puppy, he's still learning what is and isn't a toy and he's still learning his manners but he's smart and eager to please. Howie is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Howie then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I [email protected] if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Dogs + Love = Family

Adopt Howie and Receive Howie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Howie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Howie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Howie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Howie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Howie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Howie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Howie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Howie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
