About this Dog
The following is a quick bullet point on this rescue, please read the complete biography to know ALL we know about this wonderful rescue dog while under our care: Excellent heath. 3 legged with zero mobility issues. Excellent with ALL humans. Lives around young active children. Excellent companion for retirees and family dog. Must be the only pet in the home. NO dogs. NO cats. House and crate trained. Energy level medium (LOVES to play fetch in the yard) Leyla is a beautiful black labrador mix who was rescued as a stray after being hit by car. As a result, she needed to have her right front leg amputated. She also endured a right hind leg Luxation. Thankfully she recovered and rehabilited very well. She has been living in a foster home since the summer of 2022, where she lives in a home with 2 working adult parents and their 3 small children (age 5-9 years). They all adore Leyla and her loving characteristics of a family dog. As of 11/15/22 Leyla is full grown and weighing 40 pounds. Leyla should be adopted by a forever family who is looking for her to be the only pet in the home. No cats, pocket pets, or dogs. Here is what her foster mom has to say about Leyla: "Leyla is such a sweet girl. She is a true inspiration being a tripawd, she’s so happy and excited to play and doesn’t let it hold her back one bit. Her determination is remarkable, sometimes I wonder if she even realizes she only has three legs. Having a dog like this is a daily reminder of true resilience and perseverance, she is a champion. She enjoys her family time and focused attention with us, but also can have alone time for relaxation. She just loves her time and attention from humans, she really likes to cuddle and get love. She is a happy go luck dog that is low maintenance. She has learned to not enter the house unless invited when the door is open, and we have also taught her “sit” and “stay”. She is also now leash trained and has enjoyed her walks with us. She is potty trained/house broken. We have also been muzzle training Leyla. She enjoys car rides. She is crate trained with no accidents throughout the night nor barking. She really enjoys playing with her toys, and playing fetch. She has a typical lab personality and look. She is not a barky dog, but will alert if needed. She will need continued training and socialization (like any dog). She enjoys children and has done very well with our 3 children ages 5, 7, and 9. She also enjoys meeting new people. Leyla is the sweetest, most loving, affectionate dog with humans. She is such a gem, we love her." Adopt Leyla and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Leyla's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Leyla's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Leyla, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Leyla's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leyla was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leyla’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Leyla’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leyla’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
