About this Dog
Meet Gracie! Gracie was originally adopted back in 2018 and at that time she was named Bree. She was recently taken into ARWOB’s care after her owner passed away. Sadly, the family was not able to keep her, so she was relinquished back to us in April 2025. She currently is being fostered by one of our wonderful foster families and here is what they have to say about her as of 6/3/25: "Gracie has been such a sweet girl and a pleasure to have stayed with us. She loves to go outside and explore the yard as much as she loves napping in her bed. She has had no accidents inside the house as she lets you know she wants to go out by standing by the door and does her business quickly with no playing around. She is happy in her crate - we leave it open and she comes and goes between it and her two other dog beds. We’ve gone on a few walks and she settles down quickly and is not reactive to other dogs. She does great in the car - happy to be belted in and just sits down on the seat. Gracie doesn’t appear to have anxiety in the home - doorbells and new people do not phase her. We’ve left her alone for a few hours with a Kong and she doesn’t bark when we leave or return. She rarely barks in the yard - except a few barks to say hi to the kids next door. Gracie ignores the bunny and cat we have - even when the cat antagonizes her by getting up close and staring. She will put the cat in his place with a quick bark. She ignores the bunny completely. My husband loves all dogs, but I always say that I’m afraid of dogs bigger than 10 pounds. Gracie is an exception to my rule. She is silly and kinda goofy and settles down quickly. She acts like a 3 year old so we do at least one walk a day. She gets along great with the dog we watch, but she doesn’t like big dogs who charge and bark at her. She ignores Monty even when he invades her space and stares at her. She has been barking a little more at people at the door but it’s not too bad. Obviously feels this is her home to protect." If you are interested in this gorgeous girl and would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an online application right away at www.arwob.org. We would love to find her a forever home of her own where she will get all the love she deserves as she enjoys her sunset years.

100% of Gracie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Gracie.
Adopt Gracie and Receive Gracie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gracie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gracie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gracie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gracie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gracie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gracie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gracie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gracie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
