About this Dog
Oh my gosh, does it get any cuter than Twix? He was rescued off of the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter due to overcrowding. He's around 6 months old, believed to be a hound mix, and is extremely laid-back for being a puppy. Currently weighing in around 32 lbs, Twix is the perfect co-worker if you work from home, as he spends his time curled up next to you, snoring his little heart out, and definitely won't bark while you're in a meeting. He would be a great option for someone who is searching for a pup that's middle-of-the-road, as he is not too high energy and not a complete couch potato. Twix has become very independent and could entertain himself for hours, he's learned that he doesn't need to be with his humans at all times. He will curl up on the couch and let you catch up on your favorite show, but he's also down to take a long walk, play some fetch, or continue to learn some new tricks. He's highly treat-motivated, so he loves a good treat while he's working on sit, leave it, and paw. He's still working on his crate training as he get a little FOMO. He knows when it's mealtime and will sit patiently for his bowl. He's about 80% house trained and has a routine pretty down pat. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and would be a great companion for a family with kids. Though he's interested in cats he only tries to play with them when they run, otherwise if they are mellow he leaves them be. Could Twix be the companion you've been looking for? Adopt Twix and Receive Twix's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Twix's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Twix's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Twix, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Twix's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Twix was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Twix’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Twix’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Twix’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
