At just 6-7 months old, sweet little Feya landed in a frightening shelter and was scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her. Feya is as cute as they come and has quickly become a favorite at the Ranch. She is playful, fun and goofy while having a confident sure-footedness about her. During a weekend foster stay, Feya flourished: her foster mom shared, “She was wonderfully attentive and smart, always by my side on walks, a little shy at first around a few other dogs and people, but was quickly reassured with a gentle ‘it’s okay.’ She romped and played nonstop with our resident dog, correcting him politely when play got too rough, then slept soundly through the night. Though still mastering housebreaking, she showed no food aggression and even coexisted peacefully with our cat, an indication that she could thrive in a multi-pet home.” There are many dogs waiting for our help. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Feya's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Feya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Feya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Feya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Feya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
