Beckett is a sweet little boy looking for a forever home that won't get rid of him when he's not a cute and cuddly baby and they don't know what to do with him. Once was enough for this little guy. We are looking for a home for Beckett that is experienced with German Shepherds and knows what they need as a puppy to help them grow into a well rounded adult. New situations can make him a little nervous. He needs a confident dog in the home to be his mentor, companion, and playmate. He is a sweetheart with people he meets. In his foster home it takes him a few minutes to make sure the other dog he meets isn't going to hurt him and then he gives kisses and tries to get them to play with him. Beckett is ready to start his new life with a new family. Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beckett's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beckett was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beckett’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beckett’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beckett’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
