About this Dog
Alek is the last of the Angel pups to find a home. He needs a special one, one with an adult dog that is well balanced and can help teach him that the world is a safe place. While Alek's siblings got adopted, Alek held back and watched, not comfortable enough to go to the strangers. He is a wonderful puppy, though, and will get through this stage of his puppyhood with a family that has experience with German Shepherd puppies and has that confident, easygoing adult dog who can be his mentor and his playmate. For Alek a home with small children is a bit too much for a puppy as timid as he is. A quieter home is the best for him. Please visit www.coastalgsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions. If you are interested in me, please contact Jordan via email at [email protected] or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next! Adopt Alek and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Alek's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Alek's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Alek, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Alek's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alek was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alek’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Alek’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alek’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
