Meet Zeus – Your Gentle, Loyal Companion! Zeus is a sweet, calm, and loving boy who’s ready to find his forever home. Estimated to be around 4–5 years old and weighing about 55–60 lbs, Zeus was rescued in 2023 and has since blossomed into the most affectionate companion you could ask for. He’s amazing with kids, incredibly gentle with cats, and has done wonderfully around other dogs—especially when introduced with care. Zeus has a mellow personality and absolutely loves lounging in the sun, napping in the grass, and soaking up cuddles and belly rubs. He’s super food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Zeus is currently thriving on a mix of dry food and Fresh Pet. He does have hip dysplasia, but it doesn’t slow him down—especially with his daily supplements (Welactin and Dasuquin) to keep him feeling his best. This sweet soul is looking for a loving, patient home where he’ll be cherished. If you're ready to open your heart to a loyal, sunshine-loving cuddle bug, Zeus is your guy.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zeus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zeus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zeus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zeus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
