Wisteria was returned after 3 months in a home. She adores her little buddy zcoco Puff. She is still painfully shy and needs a special home. Wisteria is one of 7 dogs transferred to us from a rescue near the Mexico border. She is a light brown girl. They are an unknown mix (Lab? Terrier?) and are expected to be between 50-80 pounds given their current size and weight. They are super cute pups with lots of puppy energy! Look for siblings Denim, Fern, Bruno, Periwinkle, Sepia, and Shamrock.Our puppy/dog adoption fee includes: spay/neuter at 3-4 months old with our vet in San Bernardino, current shots, treatment for fleas and worms, microchip implantation and registration. Pets can be adopted on line and picked up in store. Our regular adoption events are on Sundays from 12-4 at the Fontana Petco. Foster families are always needed, especially during the Spring/Summer "kitten and puppy" season. If you have a little corner in your home for a cage and a few weeks, WE NEED YOU! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wisteria was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wisteria’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wisteria’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wisteria’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
