About this Cat
Betty Est. DOB Adoption fee: $275 Betty is such a pretty girl! Betty is the last of her siblings searching for a home—they were born in a busy industrial lot to a feral mom and spent the first few weeks of their lives outside. Their mom was spayed and returned to the colony, while the four kittens made their way to foster care. Betty is sweet, gentle, and easy-going. She loves to play with feather wants, climb her cat trees, lounge in her window perches, and be groomed by adult cats. She’s quite a slender girl with the longest legs and the softest fur—look at those beautiful stripes on her legs! She would do best in a calmer home (no young children please) and needs a resident cat or two to keep her company! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

Adopt Betty and Receive Betty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Betty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Betty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Betty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Betty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Betty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Betty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Betty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Betty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
