Meet Zander ! This adorable guy is a friendly, easygoing pup. He walks well on leash and responds well to his handlers. He looks like a puppy - but is actually a young adult, and his manners reflect his maturity ! See notes from his recent outing... `Today we got to spend time with Zander, a ~3 yr old American Pitbull Terrier, through the Barks & Recreation program, and he had such an amazing day! He played with some toys, got a nice bath, picked out some treats, enjoyed a pup cup, chewed happily on his beef cheek, and even tried to swim - though he mostly preferred just lounging on the raft in the pool. After all that fun, he snuggled up for some sweet cuddle time. He truly had the best day. Throughout it all, he kept us laughing - from the way he proudly carried his beef cheek around to how he zoomed after his toys. Zander knows sit and shake and walks well on a leash. He’s the sweetest boy who just wants someone to love him. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves all the cuddles he can get. Plus, his face is simply irresistible. Zander is available for adoption or foster at Bradshaw Animal Shelter. He was such a joy to have around, and whoever ends up with him will be incredibly lucky. So if you are looking for a loyal, goofy, loving companion, Zander is your guy !` We agree ! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *ZANDER was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *ZANDER’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *ZANDER’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *ZANDER’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
