About this Cat
Aiden DOB 2015 Adoption fee $250 Meet Aiden, a distinguished gentleman of 10 years young, looking for a loving and comfortable retirement home! This handsome Maine Coon mix is in excellent health and ready to fill your life with gentle companionship. He has had a full senior blood panel and exam and has been given a clean bill of health. Aiden and his brother Seven were left behind in a house when their owner moved out of state and abandoned them. The landlord found them in the house and reached out to rescues for help (thankfully). The owner had these boys their entire lives! It’s unforgivable how he could do this to them. Aiden might be a bit reserved when you first meet him, but don't let that fool you! Once he feels safe and secure, his affectionate side truly blossoms. He absolutely *loves* receiving gentle pets and will happily lean into your touch, purring with a rumble that you can practically feel. And be prepared for sweet little headbutts – it's his special way of giving you kitty kisses and showing you how much he trusts and loves you. Aiden is also quite the conversationalist! He enjoys chirping and meowing softly, letting you know his thoughts and feelings. Keep an eye out for his slow blinks too – those gentle eye movements are a sign of contentment and affection in the feline world. Aiden would love to be an only kitty in his new home or be adopted with his lifelong companion, Seven. It is not a requirement that they be adopted together, as they are not physically bonded, but the familiarity would provide comfort and stability during the transition period, which can be harder on senior cats. Aiden may also be okay with another mellow adult or senior kitty in his new home, but slow introductions and plenty of time to adjust to a new kitty will be needed. If you're looking for a loving companion who will offer you a lifetime of gentle purrs, sweet headbutts, and quiet chats, Aiden would love to give that to you. He would thrive in a peaceful home where he can relax, feel safe, and receive all the love he deserves in his golden years. Come meet Aiden and let his charming personality win you over! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

Adopt Aiden and Receive Aiden's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aiden's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Aiden's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Aiden, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aiden's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aiden was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aiden’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Aiden’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aiden’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
