She recently went on a Doggie Day Out and had a full day of adventure through Old Sacramento and William Land Park, charming everyone she met along the way.At just a year old, Honey Comb is still discovering the world, and every new sight, sound, and smell is a moment of joy for her. She loved walking through the park, watching ducks and squirrels with wide-eyed wonder, and even took in the view of the river like a little tourist. She's got energy for adventures but is also smart enough to know when to take a breakâplopping down in the shade for a quick nap or cuddle session.Honey Comb is very friendly with people and did great with kids of all ages. She especially loved soaking up attention from teens and happily rolled over for belly rubs. She was curious and gentle around younger children, though her excitement may lead to a few bouncy momentsâtypical puppy energy that just needs a little guidance. With supervision and continued training, sheâll make a fabulous family dog.Sheâs a dream in the car (loves a good window breeze), easy to handle when being lifted, and loves being petted and snuggled. Sheâs still working on her leash manners and can get a little distracted by squirrels or squeaky toys, but never fearâsheâs treat-motivated and eager to learn!Honey Comb is the kind of pup who makes every outing an adventure and every quiet moment a chance for love. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HONEY COMB was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HONEY COMB’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the HONEY COMB’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, HONEY COMB’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
