About this Cat
My name is Lovey and Iâm one of SEVEN siblings! We were named after characters from Gilliganâs Island. When we came into the shelter, we had ringworm which sounds scary but it really isnât. But we were quarantined together while we were treated because itâs really contagious. And while I love my siblings, it was a little cramped in there and a girl just really needs her space! After we cleared ringworm, I needed some âme timeâ to decompress. Im hanging out with patient foster mom whoâs meeting me where Iâm at. Iâm still shy and a bit unsure, but with the right home and family, I know I can thrive! I just need a patient adopter who can see me for the gem I am and the diamond Iâll become! Iâm eating Hills Science Diet dry kitten food.Iâm still working on my confidence so I can be really shy around new people and sounds. I try to hide and avoid hands at first. But I am food motivated, especially those yummy Churu or Temptations squeeze push up treats! As I get more sure of myself and my surroundings, I relax and actually enjoy get ear scratches and purr contentedly. And Iâve discovered a new passionâ¦TOYS!! I love batting and playing with toys, especially crinkly ones that make noise. Wand toys are also fun! Iâm quite content to entertain myself with toys in my area.Iâm in a room with other foster kittens, but we all have our own separate areas. I am so intrigued by them and try to reach my paws out to play with them. My foster mom has a 17- pound resident cat and I think heâs literally the Catâs Meow! When my foster mom was tidying my area, he snuck in. He was so calm and chill and I had the best time. I even relaxed and rolled over and let my foster mom rub my belly. I think Iâd like a forever home with another chill kitten or cat to keep me company and help boost my confidence. But when I play. Iâm really fast, so I hope they can keep up! Do you have a quiet spot for me to join you and grow more confident? I may not be very comfortable around younger kids. I would really appreciate a family that understands shy cats and will be patient with me. Could you be my perfect forever home?I use the litter box like a lady. Just make sure you show me where itâs at when I get there.

100% of LOVEY's balance will be sent to whoever adopts LOVEY.
Adopt LOVEY and Receive LOVEY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, LOVEY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is LOVEY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the LOVEY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming LOVEY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LOVEY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LOVEY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the LOVEY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LOVEY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
