About this Cat
ROBYN'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVEDRobyn is a shy kitty who is all done with mama duties and is ready for a forever home of her own. She is looking for a quiet home with a patient adopter who will take the time to help build up her confidence.Robyn and her new roommate Zira are often seen sleeping together and grooming eachother. Please consider adopting them as a pair.Robyn is FIV+, so she must be an inside only cat. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is a slow acting virus that affects the cat's immune system. FIV is a cat-only virus, and cannot be transmissible to humans or other species of animals. FIV is not spread casually, like in litter boxes, food and water bowls, or when snuggling and playing. Instead, FIV is spread through serious, penetrating bite wounds -- The type of bite wound that is seen most often in feral, intact tomcats -- or by blood transfusions. FIV+ cats can live in a household with other non-FIV+ cats if they are all non-aggressive. Cats that live together without fighting and are easy going in nature are at little risk for becoming infected. Cats with FIV can live very long, perfectly comfortable lives. Provide FIV+ cats with a good diet and annual veterinarian exam, and address any secondary health concerns as they arise.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet & greet process, please bring a hard copy of a completed adoption application found here https://animalcare.saccounty.gov/Documents/AdoptionApp_Cats.pdf and provide Animal ID numbers of the kitties you might be interested in meeting. Contribute to *ROBYN's Stash!

100% of *ROBYN's balance will be sent to whoever adopts *ROBYN.
Adopt *ROBYN and Receive *ROBYN's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *ROBYN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *ROBYN's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *ROBYN, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *ROBYN's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *ROBYN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *ROBYN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *ROBYN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *ROBYN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
