Pea Pod â 2 Years OldIf youâre looking for a sweet, quiet companion who loves both adventure and snuggles, Pea Pod might just be your perfect match! This 2-year-old boy has a gentle, calm nature and impressed us with how well he handled the hustle and bustle of our outing.Pea Pod greeted a young girl with cuddles and was completely unfazed by a boy jumping nearby. Heâs independent and loves to explore with his nose leading the way. On our jog and walk along the river trail and into Old Town, he ran and walked beautifully, only pulling a little when a particularly interesting smell caught his attention. He wasnât reactive to people or bikes passing by, and even melted into the arms of a family who stopped to say hello.While Pea Pod did get interested in squirrels and pulled toward a couple of small dogs, he was easy to redirect and seems very trainable. Heâs not overly food motivated when out and about, but his calm demeanor and affectionate side make him a wonderful walking or running buddy.Whether heâs jogging by your side or lounging in the shade, Pea Pod will happily be your best friend through it all.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PEA POD was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PEA POD’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PEA POD’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PEA POD’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
