About this Dog
!!URGENT- DEADLINE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE WEDNESDAY 8/13/25 @ 5:00 PM!!Meet Mighty Mitch ! He may be low to the ground, but he’s big on personality ! At 2 years old and 42 lbs, this white and brown neutered Pittie/Basset mix is a compact bundle of energy and charm ! Mitch came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after his person passed away. Though he arrived with another dog (her name is Maya, animal ID A897323), shelter behavior has shown that Mitch prefers to be the only canine in the home. He also had a brief adoption but was returned for chasing cats. Despite his critter conflicts, Mitch is a total lovebug with people ! He is a fun-sized ball of zoomies who thrives on attention and relishes playing with toys ! He’s playful, silly, and always ready to brighten someone’s day with his short-legged charm. Mitch is looking for a critter-free environment where he can be the center of attention and somebody’s one and only. He’ll do best with an experienced, structured environment where his people can continue guiding him to be his best self. This short king has lots of love to give—he’s just waiting for the right match to come along !To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
Contribute to *MITCH's Stash!

100% of *MITCH's balance will be sent to whoever adopts *MITCH.
Adopt *MITCH and Receive *MITCH's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *MITCH's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *MITCH's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *MITCH, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *MITCH's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *MITCH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *MITCH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *MITCH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *MITCH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
