About this Dog
Lots of energy! He could make a good exercise partner, We did 1 mile walks in under 30 minutes twice over the course of the weekend without issue. He took a nice nap afterwards. -He loves snuggles on back of his neck and under the chin . -I didn't hear him bark, but I only had him a few days. -He didnât seem too reactive to other dogs. He wanted to walk and didnât really pay attention. On Sunday, one of my neighborâs dog ran out of the door towards Ozzie. I picked him up but Ozzie didnât seem excited by the situation. -He may do well in a home with a secure fence. He made a bee line to the wood fence in my yard and started digging. I would be careful with cats and other furry animals in the home. -He was more responsive to affection than treats. - I am not sure whether he is house trained. He was isolated in a crate or quiet room most of the time. I also took him out every few hours. -We started working on leash walking. He pulls, and could benefit from using a Gentle Leader type harness. Ozzie is smart, and understood that if he pulls I will stay still until he stops, then we can start walking again. -He marks, a lot. A belly band really helped indoors. -He is not a fan of crates and carriers. I donât know of a dog who is, though.
Contribute to OZZIE's Stash!

100% of OZZIE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts OZZIE.
Adopt OZZIE and Receive OZZIE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, OZZIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is OZZIE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the OZZIE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming OZZIE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and OZZIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, OZZIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the OZZIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, OZZIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
