About this Cat
Bessie & Dottie Est DOB 02/01/2023 Adoption fee $400.00 for the pair Bessie and Dottie are a bonded pair! Bessie is an independent, playful, mellow young cat that loves her sister. She likes to lounge at the window, catch string toys, and she’s quite chatty at mealtimes. Of the pair, Bessie is the one who hangs back more while Dottie is front and center for attention. They’re opposites! When sleeping, Bessie likes to burrow under her blankets!! Bessie will be very shy when going to a new home, it took her about 3 weeks to adjust to a new environment and not hide under her blankets. She will need patience! We can't even find the words to describe the adorable black swoosh on her nose. At night she loves to snuggle up against you, keeping you warm. You will never be lonely again if you adopt these two lovely sisters! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

Adopt Bessie and Receive Bessie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bessie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bessie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bessie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bessie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bessie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bessie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bessie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bessie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
