About this Cat
Zelda DOB: 1/2021 Adoption fee: $200 This beautiful girl is dark grey with a very unusual smoke, almost white undercoat! Zelda loves to sit on your lap, or beside you, or wafting your leg, and there are not enough hours in the day to get in all the necessary pets. She enjoys every bit of attention and is always asking for more--she knows how to repay the affection with lots of purrs and chin rubs! She is playful, likes to run up & down the stairs, and enjoys being brushed. She can be a chatty girl! Sadly, Zelda recently lost her sister Sarah who was part of a bonded pair with her. We think that she would do best in a calmer home with another sweet kitty or she can be adopted as an only cat where she’ll get tons of attention! Zelda has been diagnosed with asthma and uses an inhaler daily to help keep her breathing comfortably but her treatments are a wonderful time to relax and spend time with her. Medication runs about $70 every two months but she will return 100% of that investment with her love and affection. The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

Adopt Zelda and Receive Zelda's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zelda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Zelda's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Zelda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zelda's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zelda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zelda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zelda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zelda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
