About this Cat
Parker Adoption fee $225.00 Est DOB 8/24 Parker’s story started on the Laguna Creek Trail, where he was spotted eating from a community cat feeding station. But instead of hiding in the bushes, this confident little guy walked right up to a kind passerby asking for help—charming his way into her heart and into rescue. This sweet, outgoing teen is now safe in a foster home through Lapcats, where he’s learning what it means to be a loved indoor cat. Parker didn’t have the benefit of growing up with a littermate or a mom to teach him manners, so he’s still figuring out the dos and don’ts of cat behavior. He’s doing great in his foster home, especially with the help of two adult cats who are gently teaching him boundaries. ? Parker is: ?? Extremely affectionate and snuggly (he’ll sleep next to you and give sweet kisses) ?? Playful and full of personality (laser pointers and toys don’t stand a chance!) ?? Learning to be polite (we’re working on the “love bites” ?) ? Not a fan of dogs ? Best in a home with no small children He must go to a home with another cat, as he thrives with feline companionship and guidance. A cat-savvy adopter who can continue his positive reinforcement and be patient as he grows into the awesome adult cat he’s meant to be is ideal. ?? Are you the purr-fect match for Parker? Let’s help this trailblazing kitten find the forever home he deserves! ? Apply to adopt Parker through Lapcats today! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

Adopt Parker and Receive Parker's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Parker's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Parker's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Parker, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Parker's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Parker was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Parker’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Parker’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Parker’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
