Dahlia Est. DOB 3/2025 Adoption fee: $500 for the pair While gathering cats for a large spay/neuter day in the community, one cat gave birth the day before going to clinic! Her babies, nicknamed the flower babies, were born and raised inside an industrial shop until they were old enough to be brought into foster care. Their mom was spayed and returned to her owner. The babies—Sweetie, Dahlia, Zinnia, Bluebell, Primrose, and Tulip—are a sweet and happy bunch of kittens. Dahlia is sweet, playful, and very chatty when she wants to be heard! She is an outgoing kitten who likes to explore and loves her sister Primrose (Siamese). Dahlia would like to be adopted with Primrose!! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. We anticipate a lot of interest and applications for Dahlia and her siblings. Once you have submitted your application, please allow three business days for a response. If you do not hear back from us within that timeframe, that means we are considering other applications. Thank you for respecting our process to find the right match for each and every one of our adoptees. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dahlia & Primrose was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dahlia & Primrose’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dahlia & Primrose’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dahlia & Primrose’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
