About this Dog
Meet Sara! 7 Months Old ⢠Friendly ⢠Gentle ⢠Water-Loving MalinoisSara had the best day ever on her recent Doggie Day Outâand absolutely charmed everyone she met! This 7-month-old Belgian Malinois is a wonderful mix of curiosity, calm, and playful energy. She spent time with an 8-year-old boy and was incredibly gentle and affectionate, happily soaking up all the pets and attention. Sara is outgoing, loving, and kind with a quiet, observant personality. While she loved splashing and playing in the water at Discovery Park, she was calm and easygoing during a walk through William Land Parkâmore interested in sitting and watching the world go by than pulling or reacting. In fact, she walked beautifully on leash and was non-reactive to every dog that passed by, from tiny Chihuahuas to fluffy Poodles.Sheâs not a couch potato, but sheâs not hyperactive eitherâjust the right blend of energy and chill. After a long day of play, Sara enjoyed lunch (yes, she got her own chicken taco!), lounged in the yard, and snoozed on a doggy bed. She also did great with basic training, picking up âsitâ and âstayâ like a pro.Sara would be a great fit for singles, couples, or families with adults and older children. Sheâs the kind of dog who just wants to love and be lovedâquiet, affectionate, and incredibly well-behaved.If youâre looking for a loyal companion whoâs equally happy on a walk or snuggled by your side, Sara is ready to fill your heart and home.Sara's adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from a community member

Adopt MAYA and Receive MAYA's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MAYA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is MAYA's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the MAYA, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming MAYA's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MAYA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MAYA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MAYA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MAYA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
