Wilbur is a smart, affectionate, and freckle-faced sweetheart looking for a forever home to call his own! This young pup is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly â with just enough puppy energy to keep you smiling and a deep love for naps, belly rubs, and cozy time on the couch.Wilbur is potty trained and food motivated. He learned âsit,â âshake,â and âlay downâ within his first hour in foster care! Heâs currently working on crate training and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. Heâs naturally curious and loves taking in the world around him â he just needs a little guidance to channel that curiosity into confident strolls.He can be a little cautious in new situations but warms up quickly. He enjoys being close to his people â usually within nose reach â and is happiest when heâs part of the family action (or chewing a treat nearby). Heâs good with other playful pups, loves lounging in the grass for a good rubdown, and rope toys are his absolute favorite.Wilbur hasnât been tested with cats or young children. He would thrive in a home where someone has the time and interest to continue nurturing his sharp mind and sweet spirit. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and WYLIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, WYLIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the WYLIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, WYLIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
