About this Cat

Kitten is a 10 year old, spayed black and white cow kitty. She has a short, dense coat and is a little on the pudgy side. She is the friendliest cat I have ever known. She really just wants a lap to sit in all day and love, all the love. She is a little skittish at first, but warms up to anybody within a couple of days and then she’s their shadow. She does seem to have mild asthma, but flare ups are rare. She also has occasional bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. She gets one serving of Iams perfect portions turkey or salmon pate a day that I mix with a bunch of water as she is not the best drinker. She also eats about 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of Purina One Indoor Advantage dry food and does well on it. Kitten would do really well in place where the owners were home most of the time. She is cat friendly(as long as they are). She has never lived with children, but I can’t imagine her not doing well with them, as long as they are gentle with her. She has also never lived with a dog, but I think she would be fine, as long as they were cat-friendly. I need to rehome her within a week or I will have to take her to the local SPCA or shelter.

Adopt Kitten and Receive Kitten's Fund

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kitten's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Kitten receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kitten, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Kitten's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kitten was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kitten’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Kitten’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kitten’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
