Meet Imeldo – The Goodest Boy with the Biggest Ears! Imeldo isn’t just a dog—he’s a heart on four legs with ears big enough to catch your secrets and guard your dreams. This handsome pup is full of life, love, and just the right amount of goofy charm. Medium to high energy, he’s always up for a game of fetch with his beloved Jolly Ball or a treat-fueled training session (yes, he already knows sit!).Youngster Imeldo has spent WAY to much of his puppy-hood here at the shelter. He has had the unfortunate luck of getting several stays in the Isolation unit, due to contracting several different bugs common to life in a shelter. So instead of a cute puppy being snapped up quickly, he has spent way too much time off the adoption floor. He is STILL an adorable fun puppy, and we're hoping he finds the right family soon so he can make up for lost time in a loving home.Imeldo is still working on his leash manners—he may start out with a little pull, but he’s getting the hang of it fast. He listens, learns quickly, and is eager to please. Plus, he’s wonderfully polite around other dogs and curious, not reactive, to the world around him.He’s a smart cookie, a big-hearted buddy, and—let’s be real—those ears alone deserve a forever home.Come meet Imeldo. He’s waiting patiently (well, with a tail wag or two) to be your best friend. This silly boy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *IMELDO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *IMELDO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *IMELDO’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *IMELDO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *IMELDO’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
