About this Dog
Meet Fabulous Fritz ! This handsome German Shepherd was voted `Most Likely to Be Life of the Party` by his many friends. He LOVES all kinds of toys, fetch, water, brushing, being loved on. We think he'd be a good fit for lots of different households. Here's what happened on a couple recent Barks & Rec trips... `He was an absolute delight ! He LOVES the water and jumped right into swim. He was a dream on the leash. He has a ton of energy and would do well in an active household. He seems to prefer the outdoors. He did great in the car as well. Friendly to everyone we encountered on the bike path.` `Yesterday, Fritz kept me company while I did some yard work, enjoyed a walk-jog combo, and chilled quietly on a blanket while I read in the park. He was all smiles and easy vibes :) Fritz walks well on leash, adjusts to your pace, and is pretty polite even when excited. I’m a 5’2” female and had no trouble managing him solo. We passed bikes, strollers, and people with no issues; he’s generally unbothered unless someone gives him attention, in which case he lights up and wants to say hi (with a hug!). He did get excited about a squirrel (classic), but was easy to redirect and didn’t pull excessively. Fritz loved playing fetch with a tennis ball in the yard, frozen veggies (as a cool-down treat), and just wants to be your sidekick for just about anything. He seems like a low-maintenance, loving buddy who’d thrive in an active home or with a family that enjoys the outdoors but also appreciates a calm, grounding presence. Food-motivated, emotionally attuned, and full of sunshine, I hope this sweet boy finds his forever home soon !He regularly participates in shelter playgroups and is a helper dog, which means he helps the playgroup staff evaluate new dogs for dog sociability. He may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Contribute to *FRITZ's Stash!

100% of *FRITZ's balance will be sent to whoever adopts *FRITZ.
Adopt *FRITZ and Receive *FRITZ's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *FRITZ's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *FRITZ's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *FRITZ, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *FRITZ's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *FRITZ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *FRITZ’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *FRITZ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *FRITZ’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
