About this Cat

I'm looking for a new home for Biggie. He is a Russian blue and is just a little over a year (approximate age is not known we got him in his late kitten stage). Biggie was brought to us when my boyfriend's friend came to temporarily crash on our couch. His friend was staying with a couple who had three cats and were homeless (I know... That's not very responsible of them). They ended up getting kicked out of the hotel that they were all staying at. And the couple said that they would be back for him in one week. One week turned into almost 6 months and they just disappeared. We later found out through the friend that the cat was technically his but he hasn't been taking care of it really. We've been the ones buying the food and the kitty litter, cleaning his litter box until recently when we had to get on the friends butt about taking care of the cat. And it's just getting to the point where it's becoming too much of a financial strain as we already have three other animals in the house. He also recently started spraying which is become a bit much as well, I tried to find an appointment to have him neutered but there won't be one for months from now so we agreed that it would be best to take him to a shelter but it's hard to find a shelter that won't euthanize after a certain period of time. I'm hoping to find some place that can take him and find him a loving home. Biggie is a very sweet cat. Sometimes he will climb on top of your chest and start kneading on your neck. He loves to go outside but we'll get easily startled by things. He doesn't particularly like other male cats but female cats are okay. He loves to eat and he loves his treats. This cat, I swear, eats for five cats hence the name Biggie. He's just a fat happy lazy cat and deserves a good home. He also likes to play in empty 12 pack boxes and plastic bags. And he loves laser pointers.

Adopt Biggie and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Biggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Biggie receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Biggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Biggie's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Biggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Biggie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Biggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Biggie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
