About this Dog
These 2 girls (12 year old sisters) belonged to my sister who passed away on Sept 4, 2026 in Riverside. She had them since they were puppies. They are indoor pups weighing 4-5 lbs approximately. They are presently staying temporarily with a friend who can't keep them. Mimi has kidney and heart issues that have her on special food and meds. My sister wanted me to assure any adopter that I would fund any medical care costs with the money she set aside in her will. Snowball has no health issues. They are both loving little lap dogs that love being together with their human.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Snowball and sister Mimi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Snowball and sister Mimi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Snowball and sister Mimi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Snowball and sister Mimi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
