About this Dog
Meet Burke! Burke entered Baldwin Park Shelter as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on December 16th to become a Frosted Face. Burke is around 10 years old and weighs 10 lbs. He is very sweet and gentle. A volunteer took Burke on a solo outing, and he earned a rave review for being very calm, riding nicely in the car, and walking nicely on leash. Burke happily settled in her lap and enjoyed affection. Burke is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we received a great first update from his Fling Mom: "Burke has met tons of people and liked all of them, including kids. He just wants to be held and petted and gives the cutest little kisses. We got him a harness and he is walking much better. I gave Burke a bath, and he was perfect. He let me do his nails and wash and brush him out. He is doing great in the crate. And he is very quiet even when other dogs are barking. Everyone is a big fan of this little man!" Check back soon for the next update! To give Burke a loving forever home, please fill out our placement questionnaire at: www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply Learn more about our programs at: www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family No adoption fees, and we provide free lifetime medical care onsite at FFF Veterinary Hospital. Adopt Burke and Receive Burke's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Burke's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Burke's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Burke, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Burke's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Burke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Burke’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Burke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Burke’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
