Meet Beauty, a gentle and affectionate King Shepherd who is ready for her forever home! At approximately 2-3 years old, Beauty has already endured quite a journey. She was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at the San Bernardino Devore Animal Shelter. We believe Beauty recently had puppies before she was brought to the shelter, as a Good Samaritan found 13 puppies in the same area she was found. Beauty has a calm, polite, and well-mannered demeanor that makes her an absolute joy to be around. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and strangers, making her the perfect companion for families. Beauty enjoys car rides and does exceptionally well during outings. She’s great on a leash, knows basic commands, and is fully potty trained. Despite her loving nature, Beauty does occasionally shows signs of melancholy from missing her puppies. But she's easily comforted with a cuddle on the couch. Beauty does not bark, is non-destructive, and has no food aggression. She’s looking for a loving family who can offer her the warmth and stability she deserves. While Beauty doesn’t care for cats, with the right training and dedication, she could potentially learn to coexist with them. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beauty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beauty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beauty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beauty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beauty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
