About this Dog
Meet Yolo! Yolo entered Baldwin Park Shelter as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on December 16th to become a Frosted Face. Yolo is around 14 years old and weighs 17 lbs. He is very sweet! Yolo is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we're so happy he is getting extra TLC in a home, while we learn more about him. After the first week with Yolo, his Fling Mom reports: "Yolo has come out of his shell and has made friends with our dogs. Yolo has been eating well, getting used to walking on leash (lots of sniffing to do around Carmel Valley) and getting naps. He sleeps well through the night. Yolo is very sweet and loves a cuddle or a back rub, and shows no aggression even when faced with some resource guarding by our resident snarky boy. His vision isn’t great, and he is arthritic. Yolo has tried to climb the stairs (up) but going downstairs he gets a ride for safety. Baby gates are up to prevent a tumble. A few barks are all we have heard from him - he’s been very quiet otherwise. We look forward to seeing his progress in week 2." Check back soon for the next update on Yolo! To give Yolo a loving forever home, please fill out our placement questionnaire at: www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply Learn more about our programs at: www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family No adoption fees, and we provide free lifetime medical care onsite at FFF Veterinary Hospital. Adopt Yolo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Yolo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Yolo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Yolo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Yolo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Yolo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Yolo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Yolo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Yolo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
