About this Dog
*This is a courtesy listing for a dog available for adoption in Vacaville, CA.* Meet Parker! The owner of lab mix Parker and his cattle dog friend Saffie recently died of cancer. They live in a barn stall and are currently being cared for on a temporary basis by volunteers with Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary that go to the barn once per day to give food and water. Parker and Saffie desperately need forever homes (separately or together.) Their caregivers share: "Saffie and Parker are middle-aged dogs with sweet dispositions. All they want is human contact and love. They had been neglected for a long time by the owner before her death. Parker has a good amount of energy - he likes to run a little bit, but his energy level is not overwhelming. He has striking blue eyes, sniffs and explores, and then returns for pets. Parker is a really loving dog. Living in a barn, he has been a bit starved of attention. He would love living in a home and getting love and attention from a family. Parker seems to do well with other dogs. He also lived around feral cats and didn't seem to have any issues with them. Parker needs a very special family that will be patient as he adjusts to life in a home. Might that be you? It will be so rewarding to give Parker the life and love he so deserves! Please contact Katie or Meghan at Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary with questions or to express interest in adopting Parker. Call 415-359-4638 or 415-516-3124, or email [email protected] *This dog has not been assessed medically or behaviorally by Frosted Faces Foundation.*

Adopt Parker and Receive Parker's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Parker's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Parker's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Parker, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Parker's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Parker was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Parker’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Parker’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Parker’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
