About this Dog
Meet Mary Kate and Ashley â a dynamic duo looking for a fresh start. These two bonded sisters have been at the shelter since December, and weâre really hoping someone will finally take a chance on them.Mary Kate (brown) and Ashley (cream) are sweet, playful, and full of potentialâbut they donât always show well at meet-and-greets. It takes a little time for their true personalities to shine, but once they feel safe, youâll see just how special they are. They adore each other, and their bond gives them comfort and confidence as they navigate the world together.Theyâre also volunteer favoritesâeveryone who spends time with them falls in love with their goofy charm and loving personalities. Whether theyâre adopted together or separately, theyâre ready to go. If Mary Kate is adopted on her own, she would do best in a home with a friendly, confident mentor dog to help her continue building confidence. All they need is someone to see past the shelter nerves and offer them the love and patience theyâve been waiting so long for.DNA results:32% German Shepherd28% Great Pyrenees4% Maremma Sheepdog2% Border Collie2% Australian Cattle Dog16% Anatolian Shepherd Dog3% Akbash Dog2% Azawakh6% Siberian husky3% Labrador Retriever2% RottweilerCome meet them at the shelter!Weâre open for adoptions Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to noon and 1â4 PM. Contribute to MARY-KATE's Stash!

100% of MARY-KATE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts MARY-KATE.
Adopt MARY-KATE and Receive MARY-KATE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MARY-KATE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is MARY-KATE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the MARY-KATE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming MARY-KATE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MARY-KATE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MARY-KATE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MARY-KATE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MARY-KATE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
