About this Dog
**Update** we did not receive the biopsy results that we wanted to hear and unfortunately this amazing boy is joining our Sunset Club. The Dr. has given us an estimate of 4-6 months of quality life left. He needs an Angel hospice Adopter who will give him nothing but love and comfort for the time he has left and when the time comes the proper send off this prince deserves Meet Old Deuteronomy, the wise and witty senior pup who's not letting age define him – because, as he'll tell you, it's just a number! At 10 years young and a dapper 7 lbs, Deut (pronounced Doot) is here to steal your heart and your warm blankets. Currently on a binge-watching spree of Criminal Minds, Deut's the ultimate lap dog, recovering like a champ after having a mass removed and getting neutered. Biopsy results pending (see update above), but this trooper is ready for whatever comes his way. Deut's a ladies' man in his foster home, charming the girls and leaving them in giggles – if only they could talk, right? He's curious about the outside cat but keeps it cool. Ideal for a home with older kids who understand the art of pet respect or a companion for a fellow senior looking for some seasoned snuggles. With a touch of sass, Deuteronomy's got opinions – not a fan of the crate and vocal about his share of the dinner table. Potty trained with a bit of rain-related drama (who can blame him?), he's a calm, treat-loving gentleman. Ready for some wisdom and charm in your life? Old Deuteronomy is your guy!
