Meet Sunset Street, the sweetest 14-year-old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home! Sunset is a petite 7 lbs bundle of joy who has faced life's challenges with grace. Despite being on heart meds for a heart murmur and enlarged heart (not showing many signs yet) and being blind, this little angel is ready to bring warmth and love to a special someone. she is apayed and has had a recent dental. She is in renal Failure however is showing minimal signs. She is on prescription food for this. Upon adoption we will send a bag of dry food with her and 90 days of meds. Sunset might be a bit skittish when picked up, understandable given her blindness, but her heart is pure gold. She's not the biggest snuggler, but she finds solace in sleeping on fluffy beds, and who can blame her? In her kennel, Sunset is the epitome of quiet elegance, and she would appreciate a calm environment. No small or active children, please, as she deserves a peaceful and loving home where she can feel safe. Fashionista alert! Sunset has a flair for style and loves donning stylish sweaters. She's not a picky eater and enjoys a mix of kibble with some wet food. An elevated food bowl is a must for this little queen. Sunset is an excellent travel companion and rides well in a car. Imagine the joy she'd feel in a stroller, exploring the world and soaking up the sunshine during leisurely walks. Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet. Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.
