About this Cat
Precious Opal is a velvety beauty as adoring as she is adorable! With her striking crystal-blue eyes and luxuriously soft coat in shades of cream and pale mocha, she’s a true stunner — but it’s her loving heart that shines brightest. Opal is a total snuggler who lives for affection. Whether it’s being scooped up for cuddles or lounging nearby just to be close, she’s always ready to soak up every bit of love you offer. There’s no such thing as “too much” attention for this sweet soul! Originally adopted as a kitten from our rescue, Opal was recently returned through no fault of her own. She’s a gentle, passive girl who found herself overwhelmed by a more dominant resident cat. Because of this, Opal would thrive best as the only pet in a calm, loving home where she can be the center of attention — just as she deserves. Like the gem she’s named for, Opal is rare, radiant, and truly one-of-a-kind. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a heart as soft as her fur, Opal may be the perfect jewel for your family. Please note:Opal is shown as a Siamese Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Opal would do best as an only child For more information & an online application go to https://www.cathouseonthekings.com/adoption/cat.php?id=26031&ts=1753427012&src=rg

Adopt Opal and Receive Opal's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Opal's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Opal's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Opal, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Opal's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Opal was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Opal’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Opal’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Opal’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
