About this Dog
Courtesy post for VIP rescue. Please contact Kathleen at (314) 596-1783 for more information and an adoption application. George is a handsome, goofy sweetheart who was saved from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter—and now he’s ready to start his new life with a forever family! This high-energy, fun-loving pup is always up for a good time—whether it’s playing with his beloved stuffed giraffe, going for long walks, or romping around with his foster sister. He’s also done wonderfully living with two cats, showing just how friendly and adaptable he is. George still has some puppy-like quirks, but he’s incredibly smart and eager to please. He’s highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s housetrained, crate-trained at night, and doing well on a front-clip harness, though he could use a little more leash practice. Despite his playful energy, George has a soft side—he absolutely loves to snuggle and be a lap dog. He’s great with new people, fantastic with kids, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. George is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. All he needs now is a home filled with love, fun, and maybe a few more squeaky toys. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s adventures with, George is your guy! George is currently in foster care in Oceanside, CA. Please contact Kathleen at (314) 596-1783 for more information.

Adopt George and Receive George's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, George's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is George's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the George, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming George's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and George was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, George’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the George’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, George’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
