Doogie is a silly, affectionate young pup who loves to play. He’s smart, sensitive, and oh-so-snuggly. He shines when engaged and would love a home where he gets consistent structure, fun outings, and lots of sniffing time. This 1-year-old, 56-pound sweetheart is social with other dogs and enjoys chase-style play with well-matched pals. He loves cuddles, leans in for pets and belly rubs, and is full of wiggly joy. Doogie already knows sit, down, and up, takes treats gently, and enjoys a good game of fetch. He can be jumpy when bored or unsure, so he’ll do best with a confident, experienced adopter who can keep him active and supported. On recent field trips, Doogie showed off his sweet and curious nature. He rode calmly in the car, happily relaxing in the back seat. Out and about, he enjoyed exploring the world with his nose to the ground and rolling in the grass. He showed polite interest in people, bikes, and other animals. He walked well on leash overall, with just a bit of puppy-style leash chewing when excited. High-energy, goofy, and full of love, Doogie will make an incredible adventure buddy and loyal companion!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Doogie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Doogie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Doogie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Doogie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
