About this Dog
Awww, Patti Smith makes our hearts melt. This cutie was frightened when she was found wandering in Oakland but seemed to want to be near people even if she was not so sure about them. With some patience and care, Patti Smith has come out of her shell in her foster home! She is a joy to be around. Her foster family reports that Patti enjoys long naps on the most comfortable surface she can find, has great leash manners (although sometimes there's a squirrel that she just can't resist), and is fully house trained. She has been left alone for up to five hours at a time and peacefully napped the whole time. She also enjoys car rides as long as there's a place for her to curl up and nap. You'll notice a theme here - sleeping is high on Patti's list of favorite activities! One of the cutest things she does is when she's given a new bone - she grunts and struts around the house to show it off before settling down to enjoy it. And when she's feeling herself, she'll roll around on the grass for fun. She is a sweet and mellow companion once she makes friends with people. Patti Smith has shown some nervousness around people she does not know trying to pet her, and will be best in a quiet home. She's about 8 years old and 90 pounds, and would blossom even more in a warm, loving furever home (with comfy places to nap)! Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire. Adopt Patti Smith and Receive Patti Smith's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Patti Smith's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Patti Smith's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Patti Smith, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Patti Smith's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Patti Smith was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Patti Smith’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Patti Smith’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Patti Smith’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
