About this Dog
Maverick is nothing short of special. He is handsome, big-hearted boy who is ready to find his forever family! Maverick is a high-energy, playful boy who would thrive with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a puppy who can keep up with them. He loves to play, explore and be part of whatever is happening, but when playtime is over, he is more than happy to settle in for some love and cuddles. Born June 3rd, he is now 15 weeks old and the biggest and strongest of the litter- but don't let his size fool you. He's still a total big baby at heart who loves affection, attention and being around his people. He will be fully vaccinated, kennel trained, giardia and fecal tested negative, handled daily and accustomed to normal household activity. Maverick has been raised in a home environment alongside his littermates where he has been handled, socialized every day. Because he has spent his entire life with his brothers and sisters, transitioning to a new home will be a big change for him. His new family should be prepared to give him patience, and plenty of quite time to decompress and adjust to his new surroundings. He may need a little time to feel completely comfortable and confident on his own, and that's perfectly normal. Maverick is looking for a loving, committed forever home where he can continue growing into the wonderful dog, he is meant to be. He has a big personality, tons of puppy energy and an enormous amount of love to give.

How will Maverick receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maverick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Maverick's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maverick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maverick’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Maverick’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maverick’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
