About this Dog
Albus was a rescue and had a rough start. We got him when he was approximately 4 months old, he is about a year old now. He is a pit bull terrier/ Siberian husky mix. He has had extensive obedience training and knows commands and is also crate trained. Unfortunately, he has become very territorial over me, I work from home and do not have many visitors so our home has literally become his territory to be protected. I have also been dealing with medical issues that make it virtually impossible to get him out of the house. He is a sweet sweet boy and would cuddle all day if he could. We have 3 other dogs that he is fine with but not great with cats. He has not been around small children so I cannot say how that would go. He has been boarded numerous times with no issues with people or dogs. I have never had to do this but I cannot continue to watch him spiral and I know he deserves do much better than this right now. He is high energy and would make a great companion for someone who likes to get outside and is very active.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Albus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Albus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Albus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Albus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
