Hi there! My name is Mireille (that’s Mee-ray!), and I’m writing to you with a soft purr and a heart full of hope. I may be tiny, but I have a whole lot of love to give—and I’m hoping you’re the one I’ve been waiting for! I’m an adorable white and Russian Blue mix with silky, soft fur that’s perfect for snuggling. My very pregnant feral mama was rescued from the streets by a kind emergency vet tech. Life was a little rough at first—we had some pesky parasites and needed some extra care—but thanks to the amazing folks at Dream Animal Rescue, I’m now healthy, happy, and ready to start my forever life. I’m sweet, friendly, and love being around people. I greet with a gentle purr and enjoy cuddling in your lap or curling up on my cat tree. I adore playing with toy mice, rattling balls, and batting at coils. Small stuffed animals? I tackle them like a pro! I always use my litter box like a good girl and love romping around with my siblings. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mireille was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mireille’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mireille’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mireille’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
