My name is Hibiscus, and I’ve been waiting ever so patiently for someone just like you to come into my life. I’m a tabby-calico mix with a shiny, beautiful coat and the kind of markings that will make your heart skip a beat (or so I’ve been told). But what truly makes me special isn’t just how I look—it’s how much love I have to give. I’m a gentle soul who adores people. Snuggling on laps? Yes, please! I’m happiest when I’m curled up beside someone who wants to share their warmth and kindness. I promise to purr softly, gaze at you with my big loving eyes, and remind you every day that you are adored. My journey to get here hasn’t been easy. I was left outside during the cold of February—alone and pregnant. Thankfully, a kind stranger rescued me, and I found safety with DREAM Animal Rescue, where I was able to care for my five precious kittens. Now that they’re growing up and finding their own homes, it’s time for me to find mine. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe in the goodness of people. I believe in you. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hibiscus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hibiscus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hibiscus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hibiscus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
