About this Dog
**Courtesy Post**This is a courtesy post for Denver's current family. If interested in meeting Denver, please contact Cherian at [email protected] his current family:This is Denver, and he's looking for a new start! He is my parents' pup, but we all feel he would thrive in a home that either has cattle dog experience or wants an only pet and constant companion. Denny is crate and house trained, and walks beautifully on the leash with verbal correction for me (I'm experienced with reactive pups). He does have a loud bark and wants to bark at/control the situation with other dogs, but with consistent correction and training he does great. He really just wants attention and constant cuddles! Denver's info snapshot: Age: 4 years Size: Medium, 30-40lbs Breed: Cattle Dog X S/N: Neutered Male Vaccines: Up to Date Selective with dogs, not good with cats Training: Very food motivated, smart, and easy to train House and Crate trained ✅ Leash trained ✅ but could work on etiquette Knows basic commands Temperament: Laid back for a cattle dog mix Does bark at door excessively, absolutely loves snuggles and will paw at you for attention Behavioral: guarding issues with humans, toys, and food, but no bite history Medical: swelling/occasional limping on left front leg from treated/resolved coccidioidomycosis If you think you could open your home to this absolute cuteness or know someone who does, please reach out to me!

Adopt Denver and Receive Denver's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Denver's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Denver's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Denver, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Denver's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Denver was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Denver’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Denver’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Denver’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
